YO-LANDI  VI$$ER

So I have become a bit obsessed with Die Antwoord, even after learning they are a "fake" group..whatever that really means. I get it they are fake hipsters, that hipsters love, although I am not a hipster. Whatever, YO-LANDI VI$$ER is amazing, from her bangs to her lyrical flow. Fuck you!

    yo-landi is the shit.. and i wouldn't call them fake, though many do... they're a performance art project... they're art nerds who have several different performance art rap groups in the past and those projects have culminated in die antwoord... based on south african "zef" culture... which is pretty much a particularly twisted, as you might imagine looking at south africa's history, version of poor white trash.

    I guess I just felt betrayed because I liked them so much when I first heard them that my first reaction was: they're fake! but then I started questioning if I would feel better if they really were what they claimed to be. Don't a lot of musicians put on acts anyway, what is the difference? Either way I love the beat and flow of Landi and Ninja. That shit is crazy really. I can't wait to see them in July.
