Just because I always like being right....

I am going to predict now that punk rock is going to make a come back, mostly fashion wise. While it can be defined as just a style of music, my understanding of it is as a way of life. Punk can be defined as: A young person, especially a member of a rebellious counterculture group. Yes, no?
I have never been concerned with labels, as I have always tried to pretty much do whatever the fuck I want. Although growing up I went through many phases- hippie, grunge, or a wanna-be-raver. haha. Either way all that I was has made me who I am today. I have learned to shun television and the media in general. Ok occasionally I buy a gossip magazine and I will admit here and now, that yes, I watch The Hills online. I know, so embarrassing! Anyway, this summer I have decided to educate myself and I have discovered old music that I am in love with. When I hear about a band, I investigate, instead of listening to the same ole' shit. So this weeks discovery is: Bikini Kill. I have been wanting to sing in a band..(did I just admit that?) and this is just more inspiration ammo.
