Waiting at the bus stop this morning I witnessed a man kneeling on the ground holding sapling trees in each hand, he did this sporadically while I waited. I realized that I had no judgement for this man but only wanted to know why he was doing so. When walking to get on the bus, another man was smoking a cigar and the smell reminded me of when I was a little girl and my uncle Gordon who passed sometime ago. It was then that I realized-today is going to be a great day!

Tattoo!!
Okay, so I'm really serious about this tattoo now. I found some Egyptian tattoos that are interesting but not quite like what I want. Maybe I can just get an outline before I decide if I want it with color. I'm pretty sure about the elements I want, but have to figure out how it will be positioned on my arm.

Interior Space
When winter time rolls around in central New York, an inviting indoor space becomes vital-along with yummy food to eat. I have long enjoyed decorating my home but my new love of vintage stuff has taken my decorating to a new level. I enjoy mixing the old with the new, along with artwork made by myself and my husband. Here are some interior spaces I happen to like:

Time keeps running away.
Okay, so I've been having tons of fun at my new blog on tumblr, pricksandbruises.tumblr.com
basically I have been posting photographs that inspire me. I enjoy being able to post photographs and not have to worry about accompanying words. I have only 8 days left of my break and although I have not done all that I'd hoped, I have just found a new state of mind that is both positive and introspective. One thing I have done is reach out to friends new and old- which kept most depression away during break. It did call a few times and on those days I remained warm and cozy in bed. I spent quite awhile making my bedroom the perfect chill spot-which is important in winter. It is a mix of vintage and modern and my bed is now the perfect place to lye, read, and catch the shy winter sun. I have been thinking o a lot about vintage interiors and those that are vintage inspired, I will post photos of my inspiration. Until then, family bowling calls!

Polaroid Display
As I visited my friend Ricky at work at Starbucks today, I noticed the new artwork on the wall-Polaroids mounted on 2x4's. What a fabulous idea I thought. I have so many Polaroid photographs and I am beyond the point where I need to start displaying my work around town. So I researched Polaroid display on the interwebs...so I can get started creating my own.
Earrings!!!
My wonderful hubby thought I was a little down today, so what did he do? bought me new earrings! I have been coveting these for awhile- they are hold 14 gauge beauties! Stretching my ears a little I guess.
